Exploring The World Of Language: Internship Journey of FCS UB Students as Japanese Teachers at Educourse.Id
Students of FCS UB have imprinted valuable traces in the world of language education by taking the role of Japanese language teachers at a remarkable online platform Educourse.id. This is one of the programs under the MBKM which is Internship and Independent Certification Study done by the students of FCS UB which not only provides opportunities for expanding insights and experiences in language teaching but also becoming a concrete step to support the development of language teaching in Indonesia.
Students of FCS UB have marked their valuable experiences in the world of language education by taking the role as Japanese language teachers on a remarkable online platform, Educourse.id. The students of FCS UB participated in the Certified Internship and Independent Study (MSIB) project under the Independent Study-Independent Campus national program as a way to give more opportunities to expand their knowledge and experience in language teaching. Moreover, it is also a solid step to support the development of language education in Indonesia.
With the passion of exploring the world of language, Nadiyah Fathimatun Nafisah Chalim, or more widely known as Nafis which is involved in this project has shown a willful dedication to share her knowledge about Japanese language to the learners at Educourse.id. Through this platform, she taught with an interactive and agreeable method, creating an encouraging and supportive learning environment.
With a meaningful impression, Nafis shares her story during the internship at Educourse.id, a journey that brought her to a promising career path, “Truly a wonderful blessing to do internship at Educourse,” she mentioned.
Nafis was involved in various activities, including module and exercise making, teaching session, videotaping as well as translating documents for the company. Through these involvements, she was not only helping to expand Japanese language learning access, but also strengthen the cultural relation between Indonesia and Japan.
From this internship, Nafis did not only improve both soft and hard skills, but also gained treasured knowledge about the real working environment. “The result of this internship is that I got an employment contract at an educational institution,” she said proudly.
Nafis’ achievement did not stop there, thanks to the full support of MSIB program, she was able to explore distant places without worrying about the living and commuting expenses. “I admit that the MSIB program is a good project for students who want to gain working experiences,” she mentioned enthusiastically.
