DIVING INTO JAPANESE CULTURE AND LANGUAGE
(SPJL Students Participation in Student Exchange Program to Nagoya City University)
Malang, March 8th 2024 – Two students of SPJL Alloysius Ardyan Sulistyo and Revito Khalifa Muhammad have started their academic journey in Japan through the student exchange program to Nagoya City University. This program which is called, “ Transfer Credit between Study Programme” makes it possible to take courses at NCU from September 2022 to August/September 2024.

Both students express that this experience is very enjoyable. They took various courses, including writing-reading-listening, presentation/public speaking, international politics and culture which all of them were fully taught in Japanese. This learning experience also gives them opportunities to explore popular tourist places namely Nagoya Castle, Sakae, Mirai Chubu Tower, Atsuta-Jingu and Nagoyako. Although this program is not yet finished, the two friends discovered that the taught materials are not much different from what they have learned at SPJL. In the meanwhile, one of the students focuses on the development of his Japanese language skills to study deeper about linguistics.
