Description | : | Japanese Literature Program of Study, Language and Literature Department, Faculty of Cultural Studies, Brawijaya University was established in 2007 according to the decree no. 1504/D/T/2007 issued by DIKTI. This program of study uses the curriculum based on Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) – Indonesian National Qualifications Framework. Since 2017, this program of study has achieved excellent predicate (accredited A) from BAN-PT Jakarta. Along with the vision and mission of Brawijaya University and Stakeholders’ demands, the Japanese Literature Program of Study continuously renews program specifications, particularly the ones that will give the students advantages after they graduate. Study Program Structure | : | The Japanese Literature Program of Study has two types of classes: regular classes and international classes. The total number of student credits in the Japanese Literature program is 144 (see the 2018 Academic Guide Book of Faculty of Cultural Studies). The structure of the program consists of three categories, namely: general subjects provided by Brawijaya University and the Faculty of Cultural Studies, skills and content subjects provided by the Language and Literature department, and optional subjects that can be freely chosen by students for 8-12 credits. The Japanese Literature program of study uses a full lecture system with 4 years of the study period (8 semesters, 2 semesters/years). The combination of Japanese and Indonesian is chosen as the language in each lecture period. A more detailed program structure is provided in AUN-QA Criteria 2 and 3. |
